The Plan
This collaborative activity is for students on the MIT Facilitating Online Learning Course to share quality resources and sites they have
found on the internet that could be useful to anyone working in the education sector with online learning.
Purpose
For participants to share useful links that relate to online learning (that all audiences can use e.g. teachers, tertiary educators and vocational
educators) and how they can be used to help with online learning.
This could include links for:
• tools that can be used for online learning
• links for tips on designing online learning.
Audience
Everyone on our course no matter what education background; whether teacher, trainer, vocational educator, or tertiary educator. Those who want to share their internet resources and learn from others internet resources.
Communication and collaboration tools
Blackboard Forum - The internet resources and how they can be used will be shared on the blackboard forum discussion tool. I will start a new thread specific to this. For the first post I will do a small guide of what information to include about your site/s and will provide an example of a site. I am hoping it will be easier and less time-consuming for everyone to do the discussion and sharing of links on Blackboard since we are already familiar with it.
Wiki – I will collate the links and information into a Wiki so that participants can access the information in the future (after completing the course) and could also add more resources to it if they wish.

There is a lot of information on the internet. It can take a long time of sifting through low quality information before finding a useful site.
Finding sites that are useful and help us are invaluable.
